About Dr. Melissa Weathersby 

A company is only as strong as its executive leadership.

Melissa Weathersby grew up at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. 

Her professional career has encompassed management, entrepreneurship, and adult education. In 2019, she was accepted into Forbes Coaches Council, an invitation-only community for leading business and career coaches. Melissa was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of her experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.  Previously, she was a recipient of the Who’s Who in San Antonio Top 100 Women honor, as well as the National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Award for higher education. She is an international author and keynote speaker and has graced the stage at Bishop TD Jakes’ Megafest, TBN’s Praise the Lord show, and is a highly sought-after empowerment teacher and speaker, and radio and television guest. She is also an ordained Apostle and Pastor that wears a prophetic mantle. Her passion is teaching, motivating, and inspiring people to become the person God intended them to be. 

Melissa hosts author workshops for aspiring authors and enjoys coaching and mentoring people in various areas such as leadership, personal finance, career guidance, writing books, and real estate sales. She has been an active, licensed real estate broker for 20 years and enjoys creating real estate curriculum and teaching real estate courses.  She is the co-author of a textbook, “Promulgated Forms and Contracts”, which is approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission for pre-licensing instruction. Melissa also authored the internationally acclaimed book, “Are You Arresting Your Blessing? Are You Waiting on God or Is God Waiting on You?”, which is now on six continents.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Management) from Southwest Texas State University, and her MBA (Management) from Webster University, and her Doctorate of Education degree with a specialization in Higher Education and Adult Learning from Walden University. Her dissertation project, "The Need for Financial Literacy in Higher Education", is proving to be another avenue of service for many. She is a financial literacy advocate and successfully lobbied for HB 399 which mandates 4-year public colleges in Texas to provide a personal financial training to their students. 

Melissa is also an avid equestrian. She began riding at the age of 3 and continues to ride and enjoy her Foundation-bred Quarter Horse mare much more now that her dissertation journey is complete. She is an active member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
